Our modern stylised version of the Lamat Star symbol was originally used by the ancient Mayan Culture. The Mayans believed that the Lamat Star, also known as the Love Star was synonymous with inner Love. They believed that when this inner love was nurtured from within, it would grow and radiate outwards; powerfully touching and transforming every aspect of life. The Lamat Star symbolises and embodies this entire process: Love from the source, growing and permeating outwards and touching all.
It is with this process in mind that we have chosen the symbol of the Lamat Star to assist in our work in successfully nurturing and awakening unlimited love, harmony, abundance and unity in the world.
Moreover, we are so touched and inspired by what this wonderful symbol represents that we believe, the more people who come into contact and know about the Lamat Star, the greater the opportunity is for those people to become aware of, and benefit from the knowledge and principals which this beautiful symbol represents.
The Lamat Symbol reminds us that we are beings of energy and light, and at the very core of that energy, we are pure Love.
We believe that this symbol of Love will assist in awakening and nurturing a profound awareness of the self and its true nature, hence allowing us to feel a greater sense of connectedness with ourselves and all living things including our planet and universe.
